Attenborough Nature Reserve

The Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust helps the public gain a greater appreciation and understanding of the world they share with wildlife through its work conserving and enhancing wildlife habitats and species.

Run by local people for local people. It is a member of the Wildlife Trusts Partnership, the largest UK charity dedicated to wildlife, managing more than 2,200 nature reserves throughout the country including the Attenborough Nature Reserve between Nottingham and Derby.

Attenborough Nature Reserve now covers 365 hectares and since recording began in 1944 over 250 different species of bird have been sighted and recorded. In 2005 Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust opened their first visitor centre here which now attracts over 100,000 people annually. The new Nature Centre along with ongoing conversation work makes Attenborough Nature Reserve the wonderfully rich wildlife haven that it is today.

Walter Harrison continues to work closely with Attenborough Nature Centre to help provide information on complete wildlife care and promote the importance of feeding garden birds. We are proud to support Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust and Attenborough Nature Centre. With every purchase made you are also helping to support this crucial work.
