Harrisons exhibits at the world’s largest birdwatching fair
The complete range of Walter Harrisons wild bird diets, treats & accessories featured prominently at the 2009 British Birdwatching Fair held at Rutland Water near Oakham.
Described as the birdwatchers ‘Glastonbury’ (but with glorious summer weather!), this unique 3-day event in August attracted over 20,000 visitors, allowing then to indulge in thier passion for birdwatching and helping to promote all aspects of wildlife conservation.
Stewart Halford, Harrisons Sales Manager commented “This is the 5th year we have exhibited at the fair and once again our stand proved extremely popular with many visitors coming along to discuss their bird feeding experiences with the team and to learn more about the wide range of Harrisons products. Speaking directly to consumers enables us to gain first hand market & product feed back as well as being able to direct consumers to their nearest retail stockist.
The Harrisons team are delighted to support these grass roots events, all of which help to promote the year round feeding of garden birds, maximising the enjoyment for consumers and importantly - continuing to grow the thriving wild bird feeding.
